We rescued this boy from ACCT Philly when he was very sick and emaciated. We immediately took him to the vet to have his wounds treated and get some chest x-rays... We discovered he had pneumonia, several parasite infestations, old and recent wounds... and the BEST temperament we have seen in a dog. 

Ever since the first time this sweet boy rested his frail, injured, sickly little body on my lap over 13 months ago, I thought he would stay with me forever. I bandaged his wounds, made a steam tent for his pneumonia, treated all of his numerous parasites, medicated his infections, sat through numerous doctor's appointments and testing with him, and cuddled away his pain... He, in return, as dogs do, gave me unconditional love, and he is probably my favorite dog EVER.
I love you, Lenny, my goofy sweet giant lap dog. You will always be my very special boy. Thank you for showing me that sometimes love means letting go... BUT sometimes it means "failing".
