When we rescued her a few weeks ago she had wounds from being attacked by another dog - after her person had passed away - and then we discovered she was pregnant - and she later miscarried... 
After her surgery she settled into her foster home, and her "foster failure" new mama says:
"She has already carved a spot out for herself in the family. She is a character and really has a personality! And she is a mama's girl. This one week made all the difference. She just needed to feel like she fit it and has a place in someone's heart. And she does."
