Tiny 4-pound Tilly had a stillborn puppy she was unable to deliver and had been suffering for a long while. We rescued her from ACCT Philly with the help of a volunteer who stepped up to rush her to our veterinary hospital, where she had emergency life-saving surgery by our amazing veterinary staff! We named her Tilly, short for Matilda, because it means "Strength in battle"  She has had a rough recovery, and while caring for her, her foster mama fell in love!
